This year, 247 is proud to support Surviving Christmas Hastings, a long-standing local charity providing vital support to vulnerable and isolated people in our community during the festive season.
The charity delivers food hampers, gifts and warm essentials to individuals and families who might otherwise struggle at this time of year. With demand for help continuing to rise, we are stepping in to assist in the most practical way possible — by mobilising our network and the communities we serve.
Throughout December, our fleet of over 150 taxis and coaches will be collecting donations, making it easier than ever for local people to contribute. Passengers will be able to hand food, new toys, or warm clothing items directly to their driver, who will safely return them to our Drury Lane office for delivery to Surviving Christmas Hastings ahead of Christmas.
We will also be raising awareness across our digital platforms and — in true 247 style — you may even spot our festive “Grinches” around town helping to drive donations and spread the message.
At 247, supporting the local area isn’t a slogan — it’s a responsibility. We live here, we work here, and we are committed to ensuring our community feels supported, especially at times when it matters most.
