Grinchs and Buddy Spread Festive Cheer Across Hastings & Rother

This week, something a little greener than usual has been spotted around Hastings and Rother, as 247’s very own Grinchs, joined by Buddy, hit the streets delivering festive goodie bags to some of the area’s unsung heroes.

Doctors’ surgeries, dental practices, and local receptions have been getting surprise drop-ins as a simple thank you to the teams who keep showing up, especially during the Christmas rush. No fanfare, no photo ops, just a bit of festive appreciation and a reminder that local businesses still look after their own.

Alongside spreading cheer, the Grinchs and Buddy are also raising money for the Sara Lee Trust, a charity providing vital support to people affected by cancer and other life-limiting illnesses across Sussex. Every donation goes directly to supporting families when they need it most.

The festive duo have already helped support other local causes this season, and this is very much about keeping that momentum going, quietly, positively, and with a smile.
