Happy New Year from 247

As we welcome the New Year, we want to pause for a moment and reflect on what has been a whirlwind year for everyone at 247. Before charging full speed into 2026, it feels only right to say a huge thank you to everyone who’s been part of the journey, our passengers, our drivers, our partners, our supporters, and yes, even those who’ve given us the occasional moan. You’re all part of the story.

2025 has been a year of serious momentum.

Over the last twelve months, we completed 1,197,685 passenger journeys, averaging 3,281 trips every single day. Our vehicles covered 7.59 million miles, enough to circle the Earth more than 300 times or make it to the Moon and back over 16 times. We also reunited 619 lost items with their owners, from phones and wallets to festive jumpers. One item, a pair of size 9 hot pink stilettos, remains unclaimed. Cinderella, we’re still waiting.

One of the standout moments of the year was being awarded the national QSi Community Award, beating companies from across the UK. This recognition reflects the commitment we make year-round to supporting our communities, not just in words, but in action.

Closer to home, we continued to show up where it matters most. From helping keep local Pride events thriving, to raising even more for charities over the festive period, supporting families with vital donations, and bringing some extra magic to Christmas for local children through multiple charity appeals. Many of the good things we do never make it onto social media, but they make a real difference locally, and that’s exactly how we like it.

We don’t just operate here, we belong here. Supporting the people, places and causes of Hastings, Bexhill and the surrounding areas is part of our DNA.

As we move into 2026, we’re levelling up again. Bigger goals, smarter technology, faster service, stronger community work, and ideally fewer passengers leaving behind questionable fashion choices in the back of our vehicles.
